Rules and Regulations

• Each team should comprise 8 members with 2 replacements.
• Each innings will have 5 overs.
• Wicket keeper cannot bowl.
• Number of balls per over at different stages of the tournament will be decided by the organizing committee and communicated to the captains prior to the start (this may vary depending on the weather conditions on the day and time consumed for a match). Till semifinal stage each over will be 4 balls.
• Each wide or no ball will be 6 runs and the ball will be counted.
• If a wide or a no ball is bowled in the last ball of the innings, 6 runs will be awarded, but the ball needs to be re-bowled till a legal delivery is bowled.
• Any team / team members not adhering to umpires’ calls, the organizing committee has the right to disqualify the team and award a win to the opposing team.
• Any team which cannot make it to the field within 5 minutes of the scheduled start of the match, the opposing team will be awarded a win.
• Open and 30/40 category matches will start with round stages and move on to knock out stages.
• Each winning team in the round stages will get 4 points; a tie will be given 2 points (no super over or toss will be used to decide a winner).
• In case of 2 or more teams ending up at equal points at the end of the round robin stage, the qualifiers for the knock out will be selected on net run rate basis.
• During the knock out stage, in case of a tie the winner will be decided by way of a toss (no super over will be bowled).
• Any team that cannot prove that the team players are of their respective group may be disqualified by the organizing committee.
• During the match, umpire’s decision is the final decision.
• On any other issues, the organizing committee’s decision will be the final decision.
